Agile coaching

The Scottish Digital Academy supports transformation by providing an agile coaching service for leaders and for public and third sector organisations in Scotland.

What’s our offer?

In a time of significant change and digital transformation, the need for effective, efficient and fit for purpose public services has never been greater. To do that we need people, teams and organisations to effective, efficient and fit for purpose as well.

This is where we can offer help and support to coach and grow your people, teams and the organisations.

What we do?

We focus on leaders and teams to help develop a culture where leaders can inspire and lead and where teams can innovate and build.

Our coaching team can help leaders and teams identify barriers, work to identify solutions to progress, help embed an agile approach to product and service design and to deliver a range of training courses designed to upskill those working with and leading agile teams.

We work directly with leaders and delivery teams as well as any other parts of the organisation required in both face-to-face and online environments coaching and supporting teams in their day-to-day delivery of the products and services they are building.

What people say?

Gill Hamilton from National Library of Scotland, said: “Engaging with users throughout our project gave us insights into to how to develop a service that was relevant and useful from the outset. This was perhaps the most extraordinary lesson for us and the transparency and visibility of our work was a highlight, as our colleagues could actually see what we were doing and the progress we were making.

A Product Owner from VisitScotland, said: “The emphasis on being a self-organising team helps empower people to take responsibility for their own work and reach out when they need someone else’s input, opening up lines of communication and help us resolve issues a lot faster”.
