Description
User behaviours and expectations are evolving rapidly with new technologies like large language models and other artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
The Digital Strategy for Scotland sets out a plan to deliver improved, personalised and sustainable public services. The Public Service Reform Strategy similarly outlines the need for public services to be more efficient and joined-up.
Across Scottish Government we are pursuing innovative approaches to help us meet those expectations through reusable connected content. This will help streamline content operations, while enabling multichannel service delivery in the age of AI.
The connected content learning programme is a series of showcases on the pivotal role of connected content in helping us achieve the visions in our strategies.
This first session will introduce some key concepts in information architecture including content modelling, object-oriented UX and how we can create reusable content.
Additional information
This session will also introduce the rest of the Connected Content Learning Programme. This will showcase the advances within Scottish Government and other public sector organisations to apply connected content. We will also learn from two respected thought leaders working in connected content: Rahel Anne Bailie and Noz Urbina. They will set the context around how these techniques are being applied in both the public and private sectors.
