During this session you will learn how these three solutions work together to provide a seamless digital experience for citizens:

  • MitID: A shared solution for secure identity management for citizens and businesses.
  • Digital Post: An efficient platform for digital communication between public authorities and citizens.
  • Borger.dk: A central portal consolidating citizen’s access to public services and information.

Speakers

Sidsel Skovborg

Sidsel’s Digitalisation Councillor role, at the Danish Embassy, is responsible for fostering government to government cooperation on public sector digitalisation.

She has a background as Head of Digital from several Danish councils as well as Lead Implementation Consultant at KOMBIT, a public owned IT company that develops and operates digital solutions for councils.

Most recently Sidsel has worked as Senior Innovation Manager at DigitalLead, the Danish national cluster organisation for digital technologies.

Halfdan Lynge

Halfdan is Chief Advisor in the Danish Agency for Digital Government. Halfdan works with coordinating strategic initiatives in cross governmental digitisation and has a large knowledge of the Danish national digital components.

Halfdan has a background as a social data scientist and governance technologist with more than 15 years of experience where he has advised many countries and governments on digitalisation of the public sector. He has been the founder of several start ups within access to and use of data for the public sector. An example is the hub for research and education in digital governance now hosted by Wits University in South Africa.

He has a PhD from Oxford University, UK and has published more than a dozen academic papers.

Mads Oestergaard

Mads is a special consultant at the Danish Agency for Digital Government’s Office for borger.dk.
He holds a Master’s degree in Political Science (cand.scient.pol.) from the University of Southern Denmark.

Since 2021, he has worked on cross-sectoral integration projects for borger.dk
