What's it like to be a DDaT professional?

The Scottish Digital Academy is building a showcase of stories, written by Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) Professionals wishing to illustrate a typical day in their job role.

What progress have we made?

 

 

This workstream forms part of the Scottish Government Digital Programme and is now live.

 

Public sector digital capability

We’re building a nation where digital technology enables everyone to progress. Every home, community, school, and business – big or small. We’re empowering everyone with digital connectivity. Making sure we all have access to vital public sector services, And strengthening our country’s cyber security. That means putting users’ needs at the heart of everything we do. And changing how we work to transform and join up digital services for millions of people.

Building Digital Capability

The Digital, Data and Technology Profession (DDaT) profession spans a vast range of roles across government. We currently have over 50 digital, data and technology job roles, organised into career paths within eight job families.
