Jonah Coman

Lead Specialist Learning and Development, Digital Directorate at the Scottish Government

 

Jonah Coman joined the Scottish Digital Academy in November 2021.

Jonah is a dedicated educator whose learning and development career started as teaching assistant at the University of St Andrews during his postgraduate studies. He worked in various positions as community organiser, conference and workshop facilitator, public engagement specialist, and educator, across the arts, charity and heritage sector. More recently, Jonah has worked in Social Security Scotland, where he developed and delivered courses about intersectionality and diversity and inclusion, centring clients with protected characteristics. He has also delivered professional learning for the wider Scottish Government.

Jonah’s areas of interest are intersectional feminism, accessibility, and accountability in learning and development. His responsibilities in Scottish Digital Academy are training and course development, quality assurance, and digital accessibility.
